Spain have won the UEFA Nations League for the first time after beating Croatia 5-4 on penalties in Rotterdam.
The match finished 0-0 after extra-time, but Spain held their nerve in the shootout to secure their first major trophy since 2010.
Dani Carvajal scored the winning penalty, after Petkovic saw his effort saved by Unai Simon.
Spain had the better of the chances in the match, but were unable to find a way past Dominik Livakovic in the Croatia goal.
Croatia also had their chances, but they were unable to take advantage of them.
In the end, it was Spain who triumphed, and they will now be hoping to add the World Cup to their trophy cabinet in Qatar later this year.
